Privacy policy

We build business systems for South African small businesses. This page says what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It follows the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who we are
Snazzy Systems is a business in formation, not yet a registered company. Until it is, its founders look after the information described here. Email us about anything on this page at info@snazzysystems.com.
What we collect
- Your questionnaire answers — how your business works, plus the name, business name, email and phone number you give us. Any file you upload as well.
- Your account — name, email and password. Sign in with Google and we get your name, email and picture. We never see your Google password.
- What you put in the portal — your business decides what goes in there. We hold it for you and do not use it for anything else.
- Technical details — your IP address, browser and the pages you open. Our hosts record these to keep the site running.
Why we use it
To reply to you about the problem you described, to run your account and your portal, and to keep the site working and safe. That is all.
We never sell your information, use it for advertising, or pass it to anyone for their marketing.
Cookies
Only the ones that keep you signed in. No advertising cookies, and we do not follow you around other websites.
Who else sees it
A few companies help us run the site. They only do what we ask them to.

So your information is kept in Germany, and sign-in happens in the United States. POPIA allows this as long as it stays as well protected as it would be here. Germany is covered by European privacy law, and for the rest we rely on each company’s own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
- Files you send with the questionnaire: deleted after 120 days. Ask and we will delete them sooner.
- Files inside your portal — a photo on a job, a logo, a quote you attach: kept for as long as you keep them. They are part of your records, so they stay until you delete them or close the account. Deleting the card or the customer they are attached to removes them too.
- Questionnaire answers and contact details: 12 months after we last spoke, then deleted. If you become a client they become part of your account instead.
- Your account: until you close it.
- What is in your portal: for as long as you use it, then as we agree with you.
Keeping it safe
- Everything travels encrypted.
- Each business’s information is kept apart. Having an account does not let you see a business’s portal — we grant that one business at a time.
- Passwords sit with our sign-in provider. We never hold them.
- Uploaded files go straight to secure storage through a one-time link.
What you can ask us
Email info@snazzysystems.com and ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- fix anything wrong;
- delete it, unless the law says we must keep it;
- stop using it for something.
We may check who you are first. If we handle it badly, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

Our Information Officer is Hilton Bartkunsky, reachable at info@snazzysystems.com. We work with businesses, so we do not knowingly collect anything from under 18s. If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top, and tell account holders when the change matters.
